I agree it leans to Juncker, as far as the cold one Bill, either way it's on me. Does anybody have a maker marked Schwerin for sale?

NOTED COLLECTOR HAS OWNED ONE MARKED C. E. JUNKER

Mr. Verbruggen spotted a similar thread over on the German Daggers forum and said that he has owned a marked C. E. Junker Auxiliary Cruiser badge. He also said it was just like our unmarked badges. I guess that adds the tighest screw to the lid of the box.

I wonder if we can get some pictures of this badge. That would be great for comparing the pieces.

In that case Bill maybe that should be our next priority is to locate and post pictures of a marked badge. And curious if there could be some sort of paper trail, box or badge case with Juncker markings for an Aux. badge.

              Hey Lorenzo,

it's an very interessesting question about the auxiliary cruiser badge, made from Juncker. I've a auxiliary cruiser badge in my collection which is exactly the same peace as yours, but it has the maker's mark 'C.E.Juncker Berlin SW' on the back above the rivet.
The badge was in a blue carton with no markings.

Unfortunatly i'am not able to show pic's, but contact me and i'will send you pics to post them for me

                        C. E. Junker CAB

                        Hi Guys !
I only post pics of this C. E. Junker Coastal Artillery Badge to check attachment . This is CAB with the other hinge , like Junker`s Close Combat Clasp .

Interesting subject, indeed!! What can be told about the C. E. Juncker maker mark as seen on Walter's badge...? It does not seem to be the "standard" LW badge stamp, does it?

                            Mike,

I noticed the differences right off as well. The second line looks pretty sloppy and uneven in the PIC when compared to the Luftwaffe badges I have and have seen in other collections. I also see a noticable difference in the "L" and "S" from the typical Luftwaffe stamps.
