Nice looking badge, but it is a fake. The design is close to accurate, but not quite right. The badge should be made from tombak, but this one appears to be made from some other type of metal. The biggest giveaway is the maker's mark which is totally wrong.

The catch about Schwerin badges is, that maker's marks are a bit uneven - height of the letters differs slightly, as the letters would be put there one by one (and as far as I know, that was the case with the dye).
