I highly doubt that this was done by the original recipient, it's far too crudely done in my opinion. Furthermore, Khan doesn't even sound like a German name. If anything, I would believe it more likely to have been done by a veteran who obtained this as a souvenir. Everything else seems to be original and in good condition.
