    Hmmmm, must be my eyes, or the size of the pics as the catch plate looks large to me, would agree has definately been tampared with and if you are thinking of buying this piece, I personally would pass and look around for better example. Interesting to say the least. All the best

      I agree with mrg. I would also pass on this badge. The price is too much for a badge that is at the very best: a refinished original with a repaired catch.

        IMO

        Likely an original with a definite catch repair. And as mentioned the finish is suspect.
