      KM badges

      Hello,
I think you need to look elsewhere for KM badges.

        Jody,

I agree. That particular fake has been discussed here, multiple times. I'm sure a 'SEARCH' would uncover an encyclopedia of information.

Not sure if you agree or not, but for quite a while and maybe still, the Schwerin Aux Cruiser was tougher to find (and more expensive when you did) than a 1st Model S. Although, these days, I have seen 1sts selling for 2.5k$ and up.

        Regards,
        Mark

Now pay attention folks, what is different between the reverses. LOTS!

This is the classic "Cave Creek Special" and is illustrated in the thread pinned above.

Little late on this one, but as they have said, an often discussed fake. John

Guys, did Pieces of Shi. (cave creek) actually manufacturer all of thier bad pieces? Did he have die sets? In about 1992 the only item I had bought from them were the crumby black cardboard display frames. I long since upgraded as you can see

I don't think so, I think he was just one of the bigger (US) distributors. I don't know where they were made or who made them. There were other sellers at the time but he was probably the most well known, if only because he regularly peddled them on eBay in the good old days before the TR ban.

Thanks Mike. That's sort of what I had figured. Remember his black and white quarterly catalog before the internet?
