    Uboot to trade

I have posted some items up on the forum in various sub forums trying to determine euro value for a large trade I am trying to make. Could I have opinions of the euro value on this one please? Not the top price just a reasonable price.

    Thanks for the help!

    Best, Sal

A zinc Mayer or Zimmermann depending which camp you are in. Not very loved these badges and difficult to sell. My guess, around 250€

Thanks Again Markus! I do like it, so I think I will keep this one if they are unpopular!

          Sal,

I am not sure we can attribute this badge to a particular maker. It does not look like a Zimmerman or Mayer or any other zinc example I can think of due to the pin, hinge and catch. Would not mind seeing a better shot of just the catch however. It does look like a Zimmerman/Mayer/Shickle from the front though.

It does look like a period badge, but again, one of the many we can't associate with a maker.

I would go with the above value though. If it is difficult to sell, it is not due to the design which is actually pretty nice but the fact that known makers are easier to sell than unknown of course.

So I agree--200-250 euros since the example you have is in pretty good condtion for a zinc badge.

                Hi Sal

You can try to sell it more than 250 euros but I think its a rather goog price for this badge...
Perharps not very nice but there is a lot of collectors of U-Boat badges...

                Chers
