    Thoughts On This One. Im Not Sure If They Fake The F.o Hsf. These Are All The Pics I Have At The Momemnt.

          Better pictures would help, but it looks like an good FO HSF to me. I am not crazy about the bright yellowish finish, but that could be the camera. Also the pin seems a little short and it is lacking the "bending" mark at the top that I have seen before. The last photo that shows the mark seems to show the actual "brassy" finish of the badge that I am accustomed to seeing on the FO badge.

            Hi have to say do not like the finish on this one going off those pics and not what i would expect to see on an FO,award looks original, possible refinish with pin replacement would be my opinion.

                It's rarely happens ,but I have to chime in here- As John said -the pin does not compare to any untoutched F.O. badge that I have ever handled. That said ,the badge details details look good with the exception of the finish.Just doesn't show the 60 + years that you always see in an f.o. badge.F.Orth is not known for a quality finish,to say the least.I would not want this one in my collection
