        Hello Raph,

Both badges look good to me. The first is a High Seas Fleet in zinc by Bacqueville and the other is a Minesweeper in Buntmetall made by Juncker, I believe.

        Best regards,
        Tom

          Thanks Tom for your answer.
High Sees Fleat is made by Bacqueville in Paris between 1941 & 1943.
The second one is not marked from the manufacturer.
          Regards.

The Minesweeper is definately the type attributed to Juncker IMO.

              Regards,Martin.

Really? I did not realised any proof for the pre-45 exixtence of these badges had surfaced yet.

                Regards

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!

Detlev considers them as originals. I know this isn't proof but I based my answer on it...

                        Thanks everybody for answering.
Take a look to the selection of french made badges on my other post.
The hole story of the origin of those badges is discribed in the French magasine "Militaria Magazine".
Since several years american author do recognize the authenticity of those badges.
                        Regards.

                          Hi Nick,
I have never doubted French made KM badges. I have yet to see proof positive a source that says that they were made during such and such time period i.e. 1941 & 1943 (or even who the maker really is).

                          Regards,
                          Jody
