        Looks like a French-made "Bacqueville" Auxiliary Cruiser Badge with a replaced pin, hinge, and catch. The detail on the front looks weak, but I guess that is typical for this type of badge. There is still much debate about whether these French-made badges are genuine wartime production pieces or fakes made in the 70s.

          yes it looks like my french aux cruiser apart from the hardware as already noted.

          the jury is out on these pieces for sure But there is a whole thread you can read about the subject
