    GWL U boot: ok?

    I know there are some good gwl u boat fakes out there hence putting this up for review

    someone has messed with the reverse; stamped initials on top of the MM

    I think it is a good worn piece however would like to hear what others think

        Shame that someone decided to stamp his initials PC into the maker mark. I guess he didn't want that sub-mate with the initials GWL claiming this one to be his ...

          Interestingly enough, I've seen these same overstamped initials on a GWL LW badge (Pilot, P/O? can't remember). I think this may be a third party retailer stamping their own initials on them, rather than a sailor doing it.

          I hope you already have this one on hold Dave!!

            yes well funnily enough the alleged crew member is not on the crew list of the U boat he was supposedly with

            so who knows

                I've seen this overstamped PC before also, i think it was on a GWL Army ccc
