    Unmarked U-Boat Badge; Juncker?

    Dear All,

I have what to me looks like an unmarked zink made Schwerin U-Boat badge. Please take a look and say what you think. If the verdict is positive I will put it up for sale on the e-stand.

    Thanks a lot and

    Best regards,
    Al

          Hi Albert,

Still looking for a Juncker U-boat?

As far as I know Juncker didn't make any U-boat badges, and I think the one you post here made you probably start this threat last week

After comparing it to my unmarked zink Schwerin I think what you have found is the same badge but produced a little later in the war. Die characteristics look ok to me, you'll notice that the die got a little more worn out and the hinge is also typicaly found on late ware zink KM badges by Schwerin.

The catch looks a little od but doesn't put me of, probably that late in the war they had to use anything they could find.

So my conclusion would be, original but very late ware an very worn.

            Please, help me pleazzze

Are there any shrinks on this board??? I really need

I meant to think, say, and write "Juncker", oh no, not again, "SCHWERIN"

            Thank you Philippe,

I like your humor That's the one from the old post. Frankly, I even forgot I posted something. Is that normal??? Or am I the only one?

Actualy, the detail is much better in real life. The catch is original to the badge (first I thought of a repair).

            Thank you very much!

            br,
            Al
