Is this an OK R.S. U boot badge?

I think it is OK

however the maker mark has a different font (thinner) than the RS I already own. Is this acceptable?

Does it look like the finish on the obverse has been redone?

Hi Dave badge looks original In myopinion there is a good possibilty that there has been a refinish to the front. Reverse has no apparent finish left yet the front is almost mint, colour looks alittle off but that could be the flash. All the best

looking at the finish on the obverse compared to the reverse i would say that there is a good possibility that it has been refinished.IMO opinion it is an original RS badge though.
