      Both are shocking fakes - classic poor quality Polish castings with their characteristic cast-in block hinge.

            KM fakes

            Hello,
            I would like to add, that such fakes are very old and date from the 70's. I was offered that same fake of destroyers badge when I was in 7th grade and that was in 1976-77. I even have a polaroid of it somewhere.

            Here is an article on fake KM war badges that I bought when I was 10 years old. The date of the magazine may surprise some of the younger collectors out there. This article even shows a pin set-up identical to the HSF badge which is shown on this thread.
