Its an Italian U Boat badge I had one and I posted it in the Italian section ,theres not a lot of info on them though .I nearly bid on that one but currently I am going through an I hate ebay phase .Rob

Dave These type I believe were pre ww2 badges worn when on sub, if you do a search (Betasom flotilla) you will find quite a bit about Italian submariners during ww2. Pete
