    Hi all,
    I have a chance to buy this bronze Schwerin Berlin U-boat Badge
    I notice the usual hinge waering is not typical there should be more wear in this area what do you guys think a repo or real deal

    It is not a good one, compare the letters of the maker´s mark yourself:

      I see what you mean, it did not feel right but I was not sure
      thankyou I have pasted you pic in my directory on computer
      Frank is ther any books avaliable with these type badges
      I have the Iron cross book it is a great refrence

        Dear Peter,

        From the same publishing company, Winidore Press, there is a book on Combat Badges by Mike Tucker. It has to be taken with a grain of salt, although it is a very well done book with regards to layout and photography. The majority of badges in there is good, but there is unfortunately a good percentage that isn´t. If one feels up to tell which ones might not be ok, it is an enjoyable yet expensive book.
