    a serious question!!!

    Hi.

I have been thinking about selling my schwerin aux badge with alu globe and I really need your opinions on what a fair price would be for this badge.
Aux badges with alu globe are pretty rare I think.

I really hope anyone would help me out here.

    regards,
    André

Andre .. put it this way ... the PM's you have already received ... the offers are not high enough

These are extremely rare .. especially in this condition. While they are not usually up for offer ... in Tombak, in this condition, maker marked .... I would only guess at $2500-$3000 as a wild guesstimate.

      A Serious Answer

      Hi Andre,

Think you have enough experience now to do this, you have been able to build a very nice collection.

What about about looking at it the other way. How much would you pay for it and try selling at that.

      Darrel,

I do agree with you that these are probably one of the rarest of the schwerin marked naval badges, but in my opinon the condition can not be said to be exceptional, the globe is worn and most of the fire gilding appears to be gone also.

I agree, but even in this condition (which is pretty decent), it is a rare find. However, some may pay $1000 others $3000 depending if this was the last "piece" of their KM puzzle

            Don´t sell! Keep it!
            Schwerin-marked Hilfskreuzer are VERY rare!
