High Sea Badge, original or fake ?

Hello, I am a new member of France, Lorraine and I don't speak very well English... sorry
I have this badge since 20 years, what do you think, is it an original or fake ?
    What’s value ?
    Thank you in advance,
    François.

The pin and hinge is wrong.
    The details are bad.
It looks like it has just been pained.
    The metal looks bad.
    The makermark is bad.

I would not use my money on this one.

    regards,
    André

Hehe André, François has owned it for 20 years so a little late for that.

Anyway, even with my limited knowledge I'll have to agree with André.

            Hi François,

I can only agree with the others, sorry. This one appears to be a cast repro in what appears to be a shiny (and I'll bet soft) basemetal.

            Regards
            Mike

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!

Thank you "all" ? (in french "merci à tous")

Yes, I have this badge since 20 years and I never really interesting of his origin. I don't collect badge. I buy it on a "bourse* aux armes" when I was young, I have played the fool...

                * bourse aux armes ? in English ? exchange gun ?
