            Hi Albert,

Yes, it looks like a genuine unmarked Schwerin example.

            Regards
            Mike

              Hi Gentlemen,

Thanks for your confirmation. So it's a Schwerin . I thought so but wasn't sure.

              Thanks again and best regards,

              Albert

                Schwerin S-boot

                Hello,
As everyone has said it is a Schwerin Berlin S-boot. The condition of the S-boot seems to be rather nice to boot (considering it is a zincer).

                Regards,
                Jody

                  my opinion

hey mate i also own one of these. what i like about yours is its multi piece construction. look at the swastika and you can see the off set of the backing.
also look at the edges and you should see the seem of the 2 pieces. nice detail on the flag and the windows (something the fakes don't have.) a really cool badge . it's a keeper good hunting

                    Hi,

These badges are only one-piece construction. There are no upper and lower halves. The "seam" you are seeing on the edges is the transition from 3-D die detail to sheared metal from the die-striking/trimming process. Depending upon the quality of the (zinc) alloy used and the conditions under which it is sheared (temperature, speed of striking, etc), there can sometimes be formed "rips" in the edges of badges along this seam. Most badges do not exhibit this feature though.

                    Regards
                    Mike

                      Thanks again, guys

Indeed, Zinkers sometimes look like they were multi layer, but that's an illusion caused exactly by what Mike has described.

                      Best regards,

                      Albert
