One of two examples recently posted of a Souval 1st pattern S-Boat in zinc. As with most Souval production it's unknown whether wartime or post-war but it has "wartime compatible" construction.Comment

Two examples of an unknown maker's S-Boat, somewhat crude production. Time period unknown but these have features suggestive of the so-called "flatback" maker (the reverse setup and hand filed margins).Comment

An example of the controversial so-called "French-made" zinc 1st pattern S-Boat. Whether unofficial non-issued wartime production or post-war reproductions remains unknown. Also commonly called "Bacqueville" badges although that Paris company has denied any connection. Third term used is "Mourgeon", again with no proven basis.Comment

Hi Guys,
Since it's very rare to see another 1st pattern S-boot by B.H. Mayer, here is one marked 26 on the pin which was ground dug in Poland.
