There's a tiny amount of gold wash left on the eagle's left wing. From what I know, this looks like a French pin on the back. But, is it real? Is it worth anything? Anyone want to buy it?

There have been plenty of discussions about these French made pieces. Are they war time made? Who really knows for sure. Lots of different opinions. I would be willing to gamble if the price is right. This looks like a zinc example which has lost nearly all of its original finish. Not uncommon for the wash to disappear.
