"French-made"

A couple of examples of the controversial so-called "French-made" zinc Coastal Artillery. Whether unofficial non-issued wartime production or post-war reproductions remains unknown but they seem to have emerged in collecting circles around 1970. Also commonly called "Bacqueville" badges although that Paris company has denied any connection. Third term used is "Mourgeon", again with no proven basis.
