I tend to agree with Alex. Although the pics are not great, I also think it is a genuine badge with a replaced main pin. Ther is evidence of deformation on the left side of the hinge to support the hinge pin having been messed with.

I don't find the hooks replaced much at all, if by "hook" you mean "catch"...usually seen with the original I think.

I have seen a few badges on forums and militaria e-shops. they claimed the catches were replaced. It just could be a coincidence
I bought a Minesweeper a few day's ago. (will place it on the WAF when it's in my possesion )

It also got the catch replaced. ow, and the 'fat-bellied' pin is made a little bit thinner. to fit the uniform loops. this has been done in war time
