The pin is not the standard pin, i think the pin was replaced, the badge itself is ok. Here is one of my collection

                Thomas,

IMO Looks like a very good tombak RK badge to me, great finish remaining on the obverse and a good addition to your collection.

                Cheers,

                Mark

                    Hi Thomas,

I tend to agree with Alex. Although the pics are not great, I also think it is a genuine badge with a replaced main pin. Ther is evidence of deformation on the left side of the hinge to support the hinge pin having been messed with.

                    Regards
                    Mike

                            Hi Dougie,

I don't find the hooks replaced much at all, if by "hook" you mean "catch"...usually seen with the original I think.

Thomas, I agree with all the others' comments, nice badge, replaced pin.

                            Cheers.

                              hey Norm!

indeed, excuse me, I ment catch.
I have seen a few badges on forums and militaria e-shops. they claimed the catches were replaced. It just could be a coincidence

I bought a Minesweeper a few day's ago. (will place it on the WAF when it's in my possesion )
will arive tomorrow by mail ^^
It also got the catch replaced. ow, and the 'fat-bellied' pin is made a little bit thinner. to fit the uniform loops. this has been done in war time

                              greets from Holland!
