Hello folks,
(I have brought this thread back to the top from last year, since the 65th anniversary is coming up. I would like to see some more S-boot badges)
Lately I have seen some truly wonderful S-boot badges on this forum. Please post your 1st and 2nd pattern S-boots and that way we can all get a good look at what is resting in our collections.
Remember the 65th anniversary of D-Day is around the corner and lets think about the victims of the S-boot operations that took place on June 6, 1944 (the sinking of the Norwegian destroyer Svenner, which was attacked by the T-28, Moewe, Falke, and the Jaguar) and a few months prior on April 28, 1944 during Excercise Tiger (around 749 killed). May these men rest in peace!
