    My first second patern E-Boat

    Just came in my first second patern E-Boat by Schwerin in zinc. It has a lot of finish left and i am impressed by the size of the bagde i think it's huge!

          Very nice one René!

          When I still had my KM collection I had a RS and Schwerin second pattern. The Souval wasn't only flat and big, it was even heavier and ugly, you had to see that thing

                Excellent unmessed with example. I personally do not find it that much larger than say the HSF badge. Compared to the first pattern yes, but on a uniform, when just issued, it must have been impressive. The finish would have been mint of course, and the E-boat just leaps out of the waves at you. I think it is a good representation.
