The hinge makes me think that this is a zinc badge.

There are no problems wit the badge.

I've seen this "dished" type in both tombak and zinc. They both used the same hinges though - atypical for Schwerin. This example has wear but I can really only see a silver coloure in worn areas (??zinc, but too shiny, so maybe only worn/"polished" grey finish). There may be some hints of a yellowish basemetal in a few spots. This example does not have a catchplate though, which is a feature I've only seen on tombak examples. I'd lean more towards tombak for this one at this stage.
