    Question about a KM "Kriegsweihnacht 1942" plate?


    Hi

    Today, a friend has found this KM plate on a secondhand market in Lorient.

    Could you help me to find the Km unit with a lighthouse emblem?
    Perharps for a signal station KM unit!!

        Sorry I can't help you with identifying the Light-House crest of this X-Mas plate . I cant remember seeing this design for a Holland based M-S or S-Boot flotilla. Hopefully our dutch members will shedd some light.

        But anyway it is a fantastic piece

          Hi Ben,

          Nice plate you show us here, the small cracks in the glazing is very common for such earthenware after all those years and doesn't decrease the value of the plate.

          Hand painted, and made by a dutch pottery in Gouda.

          Don't know what unit, but hope to find more about it.
