I have this one, zinc made, without marking, but with one curious end cut oak leaf.
What do you think ??

Based only upon the pictures the badge looks like a good zinker to me. The hinge and catch set-ups look correct, but that cut-off leaf I can't explain. .

The badge shows all the correct features of a Foerster & Barth badge.I also cannot explain the cut oakleaf.Here is one of my badges for comparison.

The reverse,sadly missing the hinge and pin but very similar.Catch and catchplate look identical.

Detail in area of "cut" oakleaf.The acorns look identical.These badges look like they came from the same die.The 'cut "acorn is a mystery.There must have been a flaw when the badge was struck and someone "cleaned " it up?
