i do not think it has been confirmed that the maker is Schwerdt or Scholtz.I think the best way to refer to these badges is just A.S.

Now that's new to me - Isn't AS Adolf Scholze? I never doubted that!
However - nice original "AS" with the typical hardware to match

Hi guys, to be honest I am not sure which is correct but as it was sold to me as an A. D. Schwerdt I decided to use that name. Thanks for alerting me to the fact I may have it incorrect.
