    Finally Getting Them Framed

Now that my bank is offering vault space capable of holding larger items, I have finally unwrapped some more badge and placed them in frames. The navies:

    Bob,
Just superb. A listing of makers is hopefully forthcoming? Some rare stuff there indeed! They are so gorgeous I need to put on my shades!

Wow, Bob! Although, you could use a few more U-boot badges

                Silly question.

If they are going in a vault anyway why are you putting them in frames?

                  Hello,
I can't speak for Bob, but I keep my stuff in vaults and stored in frames as well. The frames keep them neat, easy to view, and transport.

                  Regards,
                  Jody

I have a very good alarm system and a pit bull that will die before giving up a fight. However, I sleep better knowing that they are safe and locked away at the bank. Sadly, such is the society in which we live.

I know what you mean, Bob. I have a high-end alarm system as well, but I keep all of my valuable items in a safe-deposit box. I take them out every now and then to enjoy, but they are much safer locked up in the bank. Like you said, it's an unfortunate reality we all must learn to live with

I must say Bob, I'm a bit disappointed in your collection ... only one of each type of E-Boat badge?

Seriously - a superb collection of KM badgdes there!

                            Hello Scott,

I agree that the E-Boat section is a bit sparse. I am always looking for other examples by different makers. This is what keeps me collecting, and finally being able to actually see what I have put away.

Very nice Bob and I like the frames too, but am worried about the sponge material under the blue. Do you think it will cause the gold on the Zn based badges to fade?? I have my Luft Badges in this type of frame and the Army Paratrooper is fading.
