Are you using a tripod? I highly suggest a small field type tripod to help steady the camera. Also, do not use the flash. Turn off the camera's flash and turn on the button for macro pictures. Often this button is a tulip symbol. Using natural light in the day, coupled with the macro function in your camera, supported by a small tripod, will produce some fine images you can be proud of. We also will be able to see what you are trying to show.
