      Hi Terry,

      The badge itself looks like a nice original zinc Schwerin to me. The image makes the gilding look a bit strange, but I'm sure it's fine in real life. Enjoy your new addition!

        You are quite correct, the photo makes the colour a bit too orange I guess. It looks better and matt in real life.
