1st Pattern E-Boat from the SoS

I have had this hole in my KM collection for a long time. Take a look at this. It is pretty worn and the image is not so good, but is it real or do I need to keep looking? I am certainly no expert on these badges but can tell you there were many E-Boats there that were definately no good. If not OK, I know where it came from and can send it back. I feel pretty good about this one but it would not be the first time I went down in flames. Thanks, Richard

                1st Pattern S-boot

                Hello Richard,
What a lovely badge. The 1st pattern S-boot has always been one of my favorites. I bet you were very pleased to have have scored this at the show.

                Regards,
                Jody

I recently aquired a 1st pattern as well. What does the price usually run on them. Mine is missing the top hook and has a little wear on the front.
                    Cheers,
                    Sean

Thanks Jody, excluding the clasps, I now have the basic KM badges all by Schwerin except the submarine badge which is a Meyer. I personally prefer that maker in that badge anyway.

As far as prices go, Detlev had a worn example that sold for $1,848 in January. I think that they generally go a little higher than that but have not seen many around to be honest. This has been an elusive badge.

                            Nice badge, nice Schwerin flaw.

These are nice badges and I think one of the most interesting made.

                            Regards ...
