While the mark looks good from the photos, I agree with Tim. I just don't think it was manufactured by Schwerin.

U-boat Badge
Hello,
I can say that the badge was veteran obtained in 1980 and I was with him (I know what you are going to say about veteran stuff). Half a dozen other good pieces were bought from the vet at the same time, including a nice Heer dagger by Tiger, a nice KM dirk with plain blade, a cased gold mothers cross, a bunch of tinnies, a HJ buckle, assorted cloth including a real SS Bevo collar tab, there was also a mint Luftschutz 2 piece helmet. My friend paid less than $300 for everything.
I also forgot to add, but in the same lot was a mint bronze Panzer badge which eventually made it's way into the late Tony Barto collection. I find it hard to believe, that everything was good, except for this one piece.
Regards,

Nothing wrong with the badge Jody, just the understanding of how this stamp could be on it.
These badges appear in groupings with other items and docs, so there is no question I think that the type is just fine. I have not seen a reproduction of the "Juncker" style but would like to.
It is quite possible that the stamp was made with great care and added by a skilled individual, not Schwerin, but all is speculation.
Since this badge does not show up very often with a stamp (and I have never seen one at all), it is just an anomoly I think---wish we could have a definitive answer.
