    Rove,

With thats makers mark for Juncker, the hardware setup on the reverse is completely wrong. The detailing forward of the breech also looks very blurred and weak. personally I would give this one a miss, not for me.

    Cheers,

    Mark

Better pictures would help, but IMO an original zinc badge,a little worn, with a replacement pin.

Hi Rove would tend to agree with Martin wrong reverse set up for a Jucker, front looks weak with certaion areas lacking detail. A closer look at the mm may help but going of those pics i would lean towards fake. All the best

Well, since it was bought with a replaced pin and probably a replaced catch, this is hard to make a call, however, it does look to me to be a good zinc badge of this maker.

We really do not have a lot of images of a zinc Juncker in the files, but the one that is there seems to match in most places.

The problem with only one photo in the files is that we do not know if that badge is really the standard, but I think the one we have is fine.

Comparing the two it looks like this badge is good, just very heavily worn and of course the pin and catch replacements.

Hi Guys very interesting thread , a couple of things i would like to point out regarding this award, which lead to my opinion. The mm the C are not all the same, The Z is pointing skyward, there are other differences also. The eagles right leg as viewing looks deformed with a large gap that i have never encountered on these before, does not look like damage. Eagles feet even with wear. Images are not the best but that sure looks like a line going round the edge of the wreath. Just my thoughts. All the best

Rove, since you own this badge at the top of the thread, I think we need much better straight on images of the front and back. Your images are all at an angle and therefore very difficult to examine.

Hi Rove have to say much better pics , the mm now looks fine, as does the front. Just shows how the right shot can change an award. Maybe the lack of gun detail is the after effects of Zinc pest?. Have changed my mind about this award, original with replacement reverse. All the best
