    Auxiliary Cruiser

    Hello everyone,
I had this badge offered to me two days ago and read alot of information about the fakes of these kriegsmarine badges and what there made from(this looked like a modern alloy fake), im pretty sure this is a fake but I just need it comfirmed for my own benefit. Just in case I missed out on a bargain.
    Thanks in advance,
    guyver91

      I agree...

Well, it's not one I would purchase for the following three reasons...

wreath lacks detail, too smooth even for a well worn item

catch and pin assembly differ from known originals I have viewed

view of reverse makes me think it is a cast copy

Having said that, I should tell you that I am very new to this myself and others with more experience will be better able to advise you. Wait for their comments before you make up your mind. Possibly I am incorrect and will learn something here also.

      Regards,
      Stu

        Fake

        Guyver,

This one is in the fake gallery and had already been discussed last year
