    Newest Addiction..

These minesweepers do seem to reproduce quickly!
Here is my second-----an unmarked partial de-naz. Does anyone know the maker?

Hi Brian yes these do tend to reproduced quite quickly before you know it there will be a whole family of them . Closer and clearer pic of the eagle would help but i believe you have just accuired a very nice Juncker . All the best

Hi Guys. I have had this one for quite a while. It's one of my favorites, but I didn't know the maker. How do we know it's a Juncker.

Hi Guys a few years back there was quite a thread on these and the conclusion due to the style of the hinge, pin, and catch was that these were attributed to Juncker. This was largely down to the fact the the reverse hardware resembled some of there other awards which i tend to agree with.Juncker as we all know made various KM awards including the unmarked U-Boat which has the same style hinge with cap as well as the round wire catch on other variants not to forget the Juncker spange, so why not the Minesweeper. Have done a search but cannot find this thread maybe someone else can. All the best

MRG,thanks,i'd like to see that thread also.I do see the similarities of the reverse hardware on this artillery badge, especially the hinge and catch.
                        regards,Martin.

Hi Martin if the check out the U-Baot awards that were attributed to Juncker by i believe Gordon Williamson and will proberly be in his new Book (notice how i say Probably ) you will see the same style of Hinge and catch although not necessary on the same style of hinge. Juncker early spanges also have that same style of hook catch. Maybe an amalgamation of parts. Have search for the thread concerned but cannot find it anywhere, like i said it was a few years back and maybe deleted? I find the evidence and the comparisions too much in favour of Juncker, and for me personally that is what they have always been . All the best

                              Guys,

The thread below discusses unmarked Juncker Minesweeper badges.

                              http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...er+minesweeper

Interesting discussion on the hardware, espiecally the bevelling of the hinge. Based on the findings in the thread attached it would appear that the unmarked badges posted by Brian & Martin would indeed be attributed to the maker Juncker.

                              Regards,

                              Mark
