Looks like an early original "RK" in tombak with the stylized lettering and NO period stops!!! Quite rare and one of my favorites.

Can we see the full reverse with the catch?

Great badge, I collect mainly Heer badges but the minesweeper appeals to me as well. My first genuine items were an IAB and a minesweeper so I guess that is why I am partial to them. Buntmetal to boot, great find
