    Naval badge . .

This caught my eye. Should I snipe or not?

This seller has recently changed his name, note the sunglasses. That is not a good sign; however, he does have some active bidders. The picture is bad, but worth some discussion.

        Hi Gary......

.......It is a good thing that all it caught was your eye. Only one word to describe this type of naval badge:

        FAKE

We just recently had this question come up. As far as anyone knows ALL hollow print Naval badges are bogus.

        Hope this helps, amigo.

          Thanks Brian and Bruce!

I thought it was too good to be true. If Frank says it's a repro then believe me it is. I assume the close combat sub badge is bogus as well. I haven't been on EBAN in quite a while, so I thought I'd ask about what I did come across. As usual eBay is a waste of time for the most part, but I often find myself looking for that diamond in the compost.
