    Kreuzer Karlsruhe Day Badge?

In the hope that this pin was original i picked it up thinking it would make an interesting addition to my KM collection.Mr Angola descibes it as a day badge for ships visitors in KM Vol.1.I have also seen one for the Kreuzer Emden which i missed out on buying.I was wondering if any more of these badges were produced for other ships,Koln,Konigsberg,Leipzig, etc. If so,i thought it would be interesting to see them if any members have one.Thanks,Martin.

              Kreuzer Day Pin

I've seen them for the Karlsruhe, Koeingsberg, Koln and Emden, so I would guess they were fairly common for the larger Kriegsmarine ships. Almost all of the German pre-war Cruisers made some type of world tour at one time or another and were open in foreign ports for the tourists to come on board for guided tours.

Thanks for the input Lyn.I figured they were pre-war,i was just interested in seeing some of the other badges.I do remember seeing footage of the big German ships visiting foreign ports before the war, many thanks,Martin.
