How you think, a hook on it U-Boot badge repaired, or not?
I think, what the hook was not repaired, I am right?

Hi Igor,

Imo not repaired. Black solder at the base of hinges and catches on fire-gilded badges seems to be common. Probably some sort of post-finish chemical reaction between the solder and the fire-gilt.

Looks like a nice badge!
