S&L E-boat badge value?

I have a quick question, what is the going price for a E-boat badge by S&L (the one with the O hallmark)? One in EXC has come my way.

Weitze has one for sale at 900 euro, not that that indicates value of course.

S&Ls like the French maker are very hard to sell unless they are priced accordingly. I would think around the 800Euro mark would be fair.

Depends very much on condition, Jody. With typically faded finish I would say around 500 EUR, but a really mint one could easily sell for 1000-1200 EUR.

Thanks guys, when it comes to KM badges I really have nothing to do with the zinc stuff (unless it is a U-boat clasp or 2nd pattern E-boat)I always like to know the going rate on something for that has an impact on my offer. Jeff, you know me and my sources all too well. Lets just call it a teaching perk.
