    I've seen enameled sawfish pin made for vets,but this is frankly a bit too roughly made.Opinions? Tks

    PS - I've added a pic of the map of the castle of Duino, where they say there was a U Boot secret base just around the corner,for good measure

    As far as I am concerned this indeed is a reproduction.

    I own a sawfish of which I am convinced it is a period original, and the shape of the fish and the construction of the back is a lot different.
    There is no safety pin construction but a prong system and it is numbered.

        i have no back story for this piece,thats why i posted it here.It just looks too roughly made,but i like it anyway. Thanks for the comments.
