    Unmarked Blockade Runner (2)

Hi everyone, this set of pictures are a little bit better than the ones i posted on Aug 5.Any additional comments would be most welcome. The detail is a lot different from other examples i,ve seen.Is there a chance of a "double strike"?Some of the portholes seem to have two impressions.Thanks,Martin.

            Hi Martin,

These pics are still by far not good enough to come closer to the truth. But still - the badge does not really put me off, I still believe in it.
            Cheers, Frank

The catch and depression in the reverse makes this a good badge I think. In any case, have we ever seen a fake badge with a depression? (just a joke--pleenty of fake badges have given a collector a depression)

Anyway, it looks OK to me from what we have. I think the burden here would be to find any other quite like this that is not good.

Hi martin have to say the award does look a little better, reverse set up looks close but Iam not that keen on the cut outs and the depression does not just ring true for me (looks weak and a little warped) Not saying its a fake but in all honesty im sitting on the fence for this one

Not much more can be said about this badge Martin. To me, it is OK, but for the unmarked badges it can be tough sometimes to give you a conclusive answer if that is what you are looking for. Not possible in this case I think.

So, I think it is good, in the end, it is up to you of course. Others may steer away since it is not a "known" blockade breaker badge.

My opinion for badges like this is that they are OK to have until you get a textbook badge that meets all the known standards of authenticity.
