what do You think about this u-boot spange in bronze?
it seems it has been bend to wear on uniform, but take a look at back - it was repaired ???

Hi Piter,

Looks like a nice original first pattern spange to me.

Difficult to tell if it was repaired. I have seen a few of these with a sloppy solder job but never one as "extreme" as this one. However the finish on top of the solder seems to be a match with the rest of the badge. So if it indeed was repaired they did a very good job in touching up the finish.

Yes, original badge. Looks like a lot of work done to the reverse, but no problem, this one is a good addition to your collection.

At least and then some if you are a KM collector looking for one. Relation is about 20/1 with the second pattern IMO.
