            Hi Marcus,

This one is new to me. The obverse resembles the design of Deumer, still there are minor differencies. This could be interesting.

Thanks Peter, it looks like my badge could be an S&L proper perhaps this time, as the wreath, blast fountain, eagle and pin and hinge look like the one is this recent thread, only the catch differs really.

                Hi Marcus,

That catch is a typical S&L catch.
                Cheers, Frank

Nicely finished badge Is it really that bright/yellow or is it the pics?

                  regards

                    Hello Marcus,

Very nice badge by Steinhauer and Lueck. It appears they made them in tombak and zinc, marked and unmarked, and with the array of St&L catches.

Wonderful that all these Steinhauer Minesweepers all got posted at the same time. One by one, our questions will be answered by continuous study.

                      Thanks guys,

Here it is in daylight, when one of these days soon you see it in hand Graeme it looks a bit better than either pic. But is has lost most of the goldy finish really.

Its still a really nice badge Marcus.

Is´nt it great being able to put a maker to a badge at last.
Now I just have to get one as well.

Under all circumstances a very nice badge. (Never cared much for makers).
