Hi Tom. From the pictures shown it appears to be tombak. However, I can't match the badge to any other known piece that I have seen. Hinge, pin and catch look period authentic.

Dunno about that one.

I might venture to say this could be an unmarked Gebruder Wegerhof.

Anyone know if Wegerhof made unmarked badges?

Just comparing the reverses, I would say definitely not a GWL.

I also can******180;t place it to a maker but I have see and handled a few of these over the years, as well as a few denazified ones.
I see no reason to doubt them and would class them as authentic.
