Is that a L/58 under the R.S. at the S-Boot?

I would be comfortable with both of them.

          Hi Frank,

This is the first time I've seen a RS marked badge with a L/58 mark. Do you by any chance have any other images to share?

            Hi Peter,

I would agree with Frank, both badgelook acceptable to me. These double marks are very uncommon but I like to think that they are authentic.

Although I can't show you a picture on another RS S-Boat here is one of a PAB that was once sold by Winkler. The PAB was otherwise textbook.

                      Thanks Frank

There is no way I can fault this badge, still I can't grasp the L/58 mark . Well, I guess I just have to bite the bullet and come up with new theories .

                          Hi Peter,

How about the following explanation. The normal RS marked badges went directly to the units from where they were awarded to their recepients.

The badges witht the "L" codes were ordered by one or more LDO outlets to be offered on the privat market.

                          Just thinking out loud here.

I have a particular love for Souval badges. I sure wish I could find them with the double markings.
