Hi Fredrik have never like the reverse set up on these or the look of the award. The reverse hardware resembles some of the fakes doing the rounds. These awards just suddenly appeared from nowhere after years of oblivion. The ones that I have seen all seem to have the fake pebbling to the rear (immitation zinc bubbling) yet these bubbles are veryl similar in size and very hard to the touch. Artifical for me. Sorry but not one for my collection. All the best

Hi Fredrik as I said before it just boils down to personal choice. There are quite a few awards in T.R that split the collectors in two, K.C rounders, Pilot awards, Gabs etc it is all down to personal choice and whether or not you yourself are happy with it. Personally I do not believe in these, but I am not saying i am correct, I have examined them and did not like what I saw. Out of curiousity have you got a side on view of the hinge and bubbling. If you cant then thats ok too. All the best.

Dear FredriK. If others have told you it is a "good one", why do you keep coming back here? Your badge has been posted since April 2006..almost SEVEN full months have passed with 407 views of this thread!!!

And, in all that time, with all those views.... from Argentina to Alaska...from Buenas Aires to Belgium...From Russia to Roanoke... only ONE has given you a single .

WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT TELL YOU!!!


To the contrary, the other responses you have received are that people "don't like the badge"....or no response at all.


For most rational people, THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH!!!!


Nevertheless, in spite of this you continue to post (or should I say "probe"?), insisting upon a definitive "fake or real" response.

This is NOT an authentication service. It is a group of collectors who try to help each other. I believe that you have been helped enough so I am closing this thread. I don't believe that more pictures are necessary, nor that the good members here should continue to be harangued by you.

Personally, I don't like the badge either, but I won't give you a definitive "Fake" because I would not spend money on the badge to get it "in hand".
