    Kriegsmarine Badges for $25. each

Picked up these two badges at a militaria show this past weekend. They were in a case marked "repros". I will buy "repros" like this anyday. Until recently, I never owned a die-cast Souval Destroyer Badge. I found one at the Show of Shows in February, and now this is number two. The Souval U-boat is another badge I always wanted. The dealer was an older gent, who probably took the Angolia book too seriously. I know some collector's avoid Souval badges like the plague, but I think these are original badges.
    Best regards! Tom

            Hi Tom,

I guess we still have to thank Angolia for this. On a recent show in Gemany for the same reason we were able to pick up a nice RS PAB for €30. The guy wanted €40 for his mini PAB

Yes, but there are fakes with the R.S. logo as well. The mark should never be stamped into the reverse, but in relief. (Raised up from the reverse surface.) On some original Souval badges the R.S. logo uses straight, angular letters (like on the posted Destroyer Badge). On other badges, (such as the posted U-boat Badge), the logo has rounded letters. Post some pictures of your R.S. Panzer Badge, and I'm sure you will get some feedback from other members.
                      Best regards! Tom
