I have been offered this as part of a bundle, but I am not sure if it is authentic.

On saying that, I have a feeling it may be a good one.

Hi Raymond, it is a good original badge.

I used to own one very similar to it by the same maker. We have several good threads on FO marked U Boat badges on the forum with details of what to look for on the fakes.

May I also congratulate Ade on going through the 12,000 post barrier! That is some achievement and testament to the sterling job he does helping people telling showing people good from bad. His eagle eye has saved me a small fortune. Well, a fortune actually!!

I am not too clued up on U-boat awards (as you can tell) and so wondered what a fair collector-to-collector price is for these? They are pricey on dealers site, tending to go for around $450, but that may be for an uncommon maker.

Is there a more learned member who has a better idea than me?

Hi

I have a question when I read the post from Frank and other the all says that the little line over the "O" is a Copy a original have not this line .yet I wonder that all says this is a original but I see the little line over the "O" Please tell me any if I see wright or if I make a mistake by reading

Looks OK to me.

Looks like a nice original too me . Regarding price here in England you are talking anywhere from 190- 240 dependant on condition, although i have seen them higher.
